Our client, a prestigious mid-size law firm with a reputation for excellence in the legal industry, is seeking a Real Estate Associate Attorney to join their Commercial Real Estate group. The firm is highly ranked in both Vault and Chambers directories and is known for handling sophisticated and high-profile transactions. As a Real Estate Associate, you will be responsible for handling a variety of transaction work, including but not limited to:

  • Acquisitions: Assisting clients with the purchase and sale of commercial properties, ensuring all aspects of the deal are properly documented and structured.

  • Development: Engaging in real estate development transactions, advising clients on zoning, permits, and related matters.

  • Financing: Structuring and negotiating real estate financing agreements, ensuring the best possible terms for the firm’s clients.

  • Leasing: Drafting and negotiating commercial leases for various property types.

The firm offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing you to work remotely up to two days per week, providing a great work/life balance. The role also comes with a billable hours requirement of 1,800 hours per year, a reasonable target that allows for a balance of personal and professional life.

  • Must be licensed to practice law in New York.
