Reefer Execution Specialist

Description:

A.P. Moller – Maersk, a global leader in logistics and supply chain solutions, is expanding its operations and looking for an Inland Execution Reefer Executor to join their dynamic team in Mountain Lakes, NJ. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the seamless and efficient execution of inland reefer (temperature-controlled) transport operations.

As an Inland Execution Reefer Executor, you will be responsible for the effective implementation and fulfillment of the schedules created by the planning team, ensuring that all deliveries meet client requirements and deadlines. This position demands strong coordination, customer focus, and problem-solving skills to maintain operational excellence and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute daily transport plans efficiently while adhering to delivery timelines and customer specifications.

• Coordinate reefer transport operations and ensure accurate and timely updates to clients.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for issue resolution and escalation regarding inland reefer execution.

• Collaborate closely with planners, drivers, and customers to ensure end-to-end service quality.

• Monitor ongoing shipments and proactively address any operational challenges that may arise.

• Ensure adherence to Maersk’s high operational standards and safety protocols.

• Provide detailed reporting and follow-ups on ongoing and completed transport processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or related operational roles.

• Technical or higher education in Logistics, Business Administration, International Business, Industrial Engineering, or Transport Engineering.

• Strong customer orientation, with an ability to act quickly and efficiently under pressure.

• Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

• High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Flexibility to work in rotating shifts, as required by operational demands.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (Spanish proficiency is a plus).
