Regional Hematology Manager

Description:

Omeros Corporation is seeking a Regional Hematology Manager for the Carolina Region to join their Launch Team and lead sales efforts for a biologic treatment targeting hematopoietic stem cell transplant-associated thrombotic microangiopathy (HSCT-TMA). This role reports to the Regional Business Director, Blood & Marrow Transplant – East.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow business within North and South Carolina by calling on HSCT centers and affiliated healthcare professionals.

• Educate healthcare providers on thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA) and related conditions.

• Execute strategic pre-launch activities and support launch execution following FDA approval of the company’s monoclonal antibody for HSCT-TMA.

• Build relationships with physicians, nephrologists, nurses, pharmacists, and access-related personnel such as pharmacy directors and social workers.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including the brand team and national accounts to support pull-through and maximize sales.

• Analyze data to craft territory business plans, monitor sales progress using Veeva CRM, and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

• Represent Omeros at sales meetings, customer events, and medical conferences.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required (life sciences or healthcare field preferred); MBA or advanced degree a plus.

• Proven track record of successful pharmaceutical sales, particularly in specialty, hematology, and rare diseases.

• Demonstrated success in previous launches and working in complex sales environments.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems like Veeva.

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate complex hospital systems and formulary processes.

Additional Requirements:

• Must reside within the assigned region (NC or SC).

• Travel is required, including overnight and weekend travel.

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
