Safety Manager

We are seeking a Safety Manager (Field and Fleet Operations) to lead safety oversight across job sites and manage the company’s vehicle fleet. This position is ideal for a professional who values fieldwork, operational consistency, and proactive safety management. The role combines hands-on site safety inspections with fleet compliance responsibilities, contributing directly to the safety and efficiency of our operations.

Responsibilities
 

• Conduct site visits prior to crew arrival to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
• Inspect for compliance with regulations related to power lines, underground utilities, chemicals, and other environmental risks.
• Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to field crews.
• Prepare and submit detailed safety reports for each site visit.
• Oversee vehicle safety and maintenance schedules, including oil changes and inspections.
• Monitor GPS data to track vehicle speeds and driver behavior.
• Ensure all drivers complete certified defensive driving training.
• Manage documentation and reporting for vehicle-related incidents.
• Verify legal compliance for all fleet tools and equipment.
