Security Officer

Description:

The Museum is seeking a Full-Time security officer. This hourly, non-exempt position requires a Florida Class "D" security license. Duties include building and property patrol, camera observation, and department-wide communication on security activities. Attention to detail and keen sense of observation, focus and awareness are essential functions of our security team.

Their duties include:
 

• Reviewing video surveillance equipment to identify odd behaviors
• Patrolling the interior and exterior of a property in set intervals
• Only providing property access to authorized individuals
• Protecting property
• Monitoring surveillance cameras and alarms
• Patrolling areas to do security checks
• Investigating suspicious behavior
• Enforcing company policies
• Responding to emergency situations
• Keeping track of all incidents on-site
