Description:

Hyland, a leading content services platform provider, is seeking a Senior Account Executive – Net New to drive new business growth and manage strategic client relationships. This is a remote opportunity, ideally suited for candidates based in the Great Lakes region (OH, IN, MI, IL, WI, MN, IA, KY), with up to 50% travel required.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing a comprehensive sales plan to exceed quota through proactive customer engagement, opportunity development, and cross-functional collaboration. This role requires a strategic and consultative approach to identifying client needs, delivering tailored software solutions, and building strong, long-term customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed assigned sales targets.

  • Identify and prioritize opportunities with new and existing clients in moderate-to-high risk or impact categories.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor.

  • Collaborate with sales engineers to design and deliver customized software demonstrations.

  • Leverage CRM tools to track all sales activities, opportunities, and client engagements.

  • Analyze market trends, customer business needs, and technical requirements to proactively identify expansion opportunities.

  • Influence and manage responses to Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and lead contract negotiations.

  • Represent Hyland at industry events and trade shows, tailoring outreach to targeted prospects.

  • Mentor peers and contribute to sales team development by sharing best practices and market knowledge.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of sales and customer onboarding processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • Proven track record in technology sales or a relevant industry.

  • Proficiency in opportunity management, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

  • Experience influencing decision-makers across various levels of an organization.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and execution.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Salary range: $110000 – $130000 annually
