Senior Accountant

Venteon is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to fill an opening with a growth-oriented healthcare company located in Southeast, MI. The company is an Industry Leader and Employer of Choice. The ideal candidate will be a critical contributor to the company’s overall financial success.

Requirements of the Senior Accountant

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA (completed or in progress) preferred.
• Public Accounting experience or Public Accounting / Private Industry experience is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office; specifically, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel - familiar with higher formulas (i.e., pivot tables, IF statements, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Strong analytical skills to gather, analyze and present critical business insight and information.
• Excellent interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, multitasking, and organization skills.
• Proven team player, with the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work well in a cross-functional and cross-cultural team environment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high sense of urgency.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor.
