Senior Accountant

Description:

A company located in Louisville, CO is seeking a Senior Accountant on a contract to hire basis. Qualified candidates are required to have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field along with several years of recent corporate senior accounting experience.

Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Account reconciliations
• Journal entries
• Account analysis
• General ledger
• Financial reporting
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Variance analysis
• Recording accruals
• Assisting with the month-end closing
• Other accounting related functions

Requirements of the Senior Accountant:

• 2-3 plus years of recent Senior Accounting experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
• Intermediate MS Excel skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills
