Description:
Venning Advisors is a full-service CPA and advisory firm founded in 1978 with offices throughout the East Coast of the US. Venning provides accounting, bookkeeping, tax, assurance, and financial advisory services to individual and corporate clients providing a comprehensive approach to tax and operational complexities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up accounting systems and migrate opening balances.
- Preparations management accounts and statutory financial statements.
- Manage a portfolio of over 100 small and medium clients by providing accounting and administrative support to clients.
- Coordinate and liaise with clients on day-to-day accounting matters and queries.
- Manage client deliverables to ensure that agreed timelines are met.
- Manage outsource accounting team to ensure clients books are maintained.
- Assist with other department regarding general accounting matters.
- Other incidental work as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- 3 years working experience in Managed Services or 10 years of relevant accounting experience
- Good interpersonal skills and a strong command of English.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Online required
- Knowledge of NetSuite is preferred
- Able to work independently and work under tight deadlines.
- Meticulous, organized, detailed and deadline-oriented.
