Senior Accountant

Description:

Venteon is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our clients’ growing team. This new position is designed to support the company’s expansion. The ideal candidate will have experience in monthly closing processes, financial reporting, data analysis, and collaboration with external auditors and tax professionals. We’re looking for an organized individual with a strong analytical mindset who can work directly with leadership, including the Controller, CFO, and CEO.

Key Qualifications:

• 2-3+ years of public accounting, consulting, or industry accounting experience (industry experience, especially in small to mid-market companies, is a plus)
• Strong background in general ledger accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation
• BA or BS in Business, Accounting, or a related field
• CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications are a plus but not required
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and Sage Intacct or similar ERP systems
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Previous experience in a dynamic organization is preferred
