Senior Accountant

Description:

A well-established and rapidly expanding company, supported by a top-tier private equity firm, is looking to hire a Senior Accountant to strengthen its dynamic finance team. With multi-state operations and a history of consistent growth, this role presents a chance to play a key role in a high-performing business environment.

Reporting to the VP of Finance, the Senior Accountant will take charge of essential accounting functions such as financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance, and process support for payroll, contractor payments, and commissions. The company relies on tools like NetSuite, Salesforce, and Excel, making experience with these platforms a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Prepare detailed financial statements and reporting documents.

• Manage comprehensive account reconciliations and support both internal and external audits.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and all internal accounting and operational policies.

• Provide support for payroll administration, contractor payments, and commission calculations, helping streamline and ensure the accuracy of these financial operations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA or CMA designation is preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a relevant accounting role.

• Strong hands-on knowledge of NetSuite or similar ERP/accounting platforms.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently and within a collaborative team setting.

Compensation & Benefits:

• 💰 Base Salary: Up to $95000/year ($7916/month)

• ➕ Bonus: Discretionary (average of 5%)

Location & Work Setup:

• 🏢 In-office role, Monday to Friday (some flexibility in schedule available)
