Simons Bitzer & Associates, a CPA firm, is hiring a Senior or Manager CPA in Indianapolis.

OPPORTUNITY:

As our Client Accounting Services Manager, you will assist our clients with accounting services, financial statement preparation, controllership and CFO services. Be a key leader in employee development by providing feedback and coaching as you review staff. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and advisory support.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Review and/or prepare financial statement oversights, complied financial statements, and reviews.
• Oversee and take part in ongoing accounting and/or controllership work for clients in a multitude of industries.
• Research various technical accounting related items and keep abreast of changes in accounting and SSARS regulations and standards.
• Develop and manage client relationships with a high level of service commitment.
• Manage multiple client engagements, including accounting, financial reporting, and tax preparation.
• Work with clients to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

SUCCESS FACTORS:

• 5+ years of experience with accounting services and financial statement preparation.
• Past controllership and/or CFO role with entrepreneurial companies is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is preferred.
• Tax experience is a plus.
• Enjoy a blend of independent work and team collaboration.
• Strong initiative with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient with workpapers related software packages and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to adapt to various accounting systems.
• Desire to expand your growth and leadership within the firm.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Simons Bitzer & Associates will reward your accounting talents with a salary of $80k-$110k depending on experience level. Bonus potential available!
