Senior Accountant

Description:

CRG is seeking a Senior Accountant with lease accounting (ASC842) experience to support their growing team in Fort Mill, SC. This role will primarily focus on lease accounting and general ledger responsibilities, including account reconciliations, monthly journal entries, and special projects. The position provides a stable work environment with strong opportunities for internal advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly close processes ensuring accurate lease accounting and timely reconciliations.

• Ensure accurate accounting and reporting of lease agreements.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

• Prepare monthly journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.

• Collaborate with other departments to validate completeness and accuracy of GL accounts.

• Assist with ad hoc reporting and other duties assigned by the Accounting Manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting required.

• 3+ years of Public Accounting (audit) experience OR 5+ years of relevant industry experience.

• CPA designation or actively pursuing CPA preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver with excellent analytical, quantitative, and investigative abilities.

• Willingness and ability to travel periodically.
