Senior Accounting Analyst

Description:

Arrive Logistics, a leading transportation and technology company, is looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst to join their Corporate Accounting team. This role involves month-end close responsibilities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and financial reporting tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proficient in GAAP, and comfortable working in a high-growth environment. You'll work closely with various teams across the company to ensure accurate financial reporting, system implementations, and provide guidance to junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform month-end close activities, including complex journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and reporting

• Ensure accurate GL coding and cost center assignments for financial reporting and trend analysis

• Collaborate with AP, AR, Payroll, and Cash Application teams for accurate and timely accounting processes

• Draft MD&A level commentary for monthly review and financial trends analysis

• Act as a subject matter expert for general accounting processes and create SOPs

• Participate in external audit requests and tax filings

• Assist with system integrations, budget preparation, and ad-hoc reports for cross-functional teams

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accountants and analysts

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; MAcc or MBA is a plus

• CPA or CPA-track required

• 3+ years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, or audit, with Big 4 Audit experience preferred

• Experience with NetSuite or other major ERP systems

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Experience in a high-growth environment is highly desirable
