EY (Ernst & Young) is actively seeking a Senior SAP BASIS Consultant to join its dynamic SAP Technology and Architecture Consulting team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive Agile Business Transformation using SAP technologies for clients across various industries. The position is open to candidates nationwide within the US, with significant client travel expected.

As a Senior Application Systems Engineer, you will work with diverse platforms (mobile, web, tablet), leveraging standard tools and agile delivery methodologies. You will be a critical contributor in crafting and integrating user interfaces, managing system configurations, and delivering enterprise-grade SAP BASIS solutions aligned with client objectives.

This role demands deep technical insight, strategic thinking, and collaboration with both internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure solution integrity, high performance, and compliance with quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify customer needs and develop front-end components and services integral to system architecture

• Lead and manage SAP BASIS deliverables, ensuring timeliness and quality

• Maintain project metrics including engagement economics, budget tracking, resource planning, and status reporting

• Conduct client sessions, acting as a key contributor or workstream lead

• Architect, configure, and integrate SAP and non-SAP systems aligned with business requirements

• Provide workflow documentation, perform system blueprinting and testing

• Engage in quality assurance, systems integration, and software development lifecycle oversight

• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships, promoting trust and long-term value

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (four-year) in a relevant technical or business discipline

• 2–4 years of hands-on SAP ERP experience, especially in BASIS consulting and architecture

• Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and technical writing skills

• Strong understanding of business processes, regulatory compliance, and digital transformation

• Demonstrated ability in agile methodologies, systems integration, and client engagement

• Willingness and ability to travel 60% or more to meet client needs

• Effective in risk management, resource allocation, and outcome tracking

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP Certifications in relevant modules

• Experience with at least one full lifecycle SAP implementation

• Previous experience in the consulting industry or similar high-performance environment

Compensation:

• Annual Salary Range: $101500 to $186000

• Monthly Equivalent: $8458.33 to $15500.00

(For NYC Metro Area, California, and Washington State: Salary range may extend up to $211300 annually)
