Secretariat is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Associate, Investigations & Forensic Accounting to join its expanding Global Investigations team. This is a remote role with the requirement to either reside in or relocate to Las Vegas, NV. The position offers an opportunity to collaborate with some of the world's leading law firms, corporations, and institutions, providing expertise on high-stakes legal, regulatory, and strategic matters.

As a Senior Associate, you will be part of a globally recognized team of accountants, economists, analysts, and industry experts, consistently ranked among the top in the field of expert witness and forensic services. Your work will involve conducting in-depth financial and forensic investigations into areas such as asset misappropriation, fraud, post-acquisition disputes, bribery, corruption, and securities fraud.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting comprehensive financial, accounting, and industry research.

  • Analyzing complex accounting, financial, and business records to identify irregularities and report findings.

  • Assisting in e-discovery reviews, damage calculations, and forensic accounting reports.

  • Preparing reports for litigation, hearings, trials, and mediations.

  • Collaborating with legal counsel and clients to develop investigative strategies.

  • Managing multiple engagements simultaneously while ensuring high-quality deliverables.

  • Mentoring junior staff and contributing to the growth of the practice.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (CPA required; CFF, CFA, CFE, or ABV credentials are a plus).

  • Minimum of 3 years audit experience in a Big Four firm; forensic investigation experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work independently and manage teams under tight deadlines.

  • Willingness to travel as required.

  • Proficiency in a second language is a plus.
