CyberCoders, a distinguished full-service public accounting and consulting firm, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Senior to join their team in Westborough, MA. The firm serves the New England region with a team of experienced professionals who bring both domestic and international expertise in accounting, auditing, taxation, and consulting. Registered with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Division of Professional Licensure in Public Accountancy and the PCAOB, the firm is recognized for its exceptional quality, responsiveness, and client-centric approach.
As an Audit Senior, you will take a leadership role within the firm’s audit practice—overseeing engagements, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring that all audits are executed to the highest professional standards. This position offers significant exposure to diverse clients and provides a clear path for professional advancement in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Lead and manage client audit engagements from initial planning through completion, including risk assessment, audit scope, and execution of audit procedures.
Supervise, guide, and mentor junior audit staff, reviewing their work to ensure accuracy and professional development.
Develop and tailor audit programs and plans based on each client’s operations and risk profile.
Oversee detailed testing of account balances, transactions, and internal controls to ensure compliance with established standards.
Prepare and review financial statements, disclosures, and supporting schedules in full compliance with GAAP.
Communicate audit findings, internal control recommendations, and engagement updates to partners, managers, and client management.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure all audit work aligns with GAAS, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
Manage engagement budgets, deadlines, and deliverables while ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 3+ years of public accounting audit experience.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and GAAS standards.
Experience leading audit engagements and supervising junior staff.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
CPA license or active pursuit of CPA certification.
Prior experience in a Big 4 or large regional accounting firm.
Master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
Experience auditing clients within the New England market.
Proficiency in audit software such as ProSystem fx Engagement or Caseware.
Competitive salary of $80,000 - $120,000 per year with discretionary bonuses.
