Minimum Qualification Requirements

At time of application, you must be a citizen, national or permanent resident alien of the United States or a non-citizen eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
Equivalent to graduation from high school. Responsible work experience that demonstrated the ability to perform the essential functions of the job may be substituted for education.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT :
Three (3) years of experience in inspecting or supervising construction work.

Substitution:

• An Associate's degree in architectural or engineering drafting from an accredited college or university; or in the Applied Trades, Architectural, Engineering and CAD Technologies, and Carpentry Technology programs at Honolulu Community College, or similar academic programs from a regionally-accredited college or university will substitute for two (2) years of the required experience.

• A Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Engineering from a regionally-accredited college or university will substitute for all three (3) years of the required experience.
