Senior Construction Superintendent

Liberty Personnel Services is hiring a Senior Construction Superintendent for a prestigious $75 million construction project in Utica, NY. The selected candidate will oversee all on-site construction activities, managing self-perform labor crews, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure project success. The superintendent will also be responsible for enforcing safety protocols, ensuring quality compliance, and supervising the overall project schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and technical oversight at the construction project site.

• Supervise day-to-day on-site activities, including subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams.

• Enforce corporate and industry-standard safety protocols on site.

• Maintain quality standards in line with corporate expectations.

• Coordinate construction schedule using Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling tools.

• Monitor cost reports and labor production data.

• Interpret and enforce subcontractor agreements.

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and ensure consistent project updates and alignment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.

• At least 5 years of construction experience, with direct involvement in $50MM+ projects.

• Proficiency in interpreting building plans and specifications.

• OSHA 10 certification (mandatory); OSHA 30 certification (preferred).

• Certified Supervisor License (CSL) preferred.

• Solid understanding of safety and quality management programs.

• Effective oral communication skills and basic computer proficiency.
