Senior Director

Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Director for our Microsoft Cloud Azure and to a lesser extent AWS Operations team, reporting directly to the VP of Infrastructure. This Azure & AWS role is critical in managing a global team of Azure & AWS Cloud IT professionals, overseeing the day-to-day operations, and driving initiatives for our Microsoft Cloud Administration Teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a hands-on operational mindset, and a proven track record in managing large-scale IT projects on a global scale.

Responsibilities for the Senior Director, Microsoft Azure Cloud Operations

• Direct a global team of IT managers and technical experts in Microsoft-based Azure Cloud and to a lesser extent AWS Operations.
• Manage large-scale Information and Operations technology projects, ensuring successful and timely completion.
• Develop and implement global Information and Day to Day Azure Cloud Operations, policy, procedure, and SLAs.
• Oversee a capital budget of $2-$5 million and an operating budget of $7-$10 million.
• Maintain LEAN IT initiatives to enhance Azure and to a lesser extent AWS team efficiency.
• Collaborate with I&O senior management to align strategies with overall business objectives.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend Cloud technologies in alignment with business and I/O strategy.
• Lead vendor and licensing management.
