Description:
As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play an active role in developing microcontroller-based systems, analog and digital circuits, cable harness and embedded systems for instruments used in life science applications. The Senior Electrical Engineer will work with others to conceive, develop, prototype, and test novel products in accordance with established policies, goals, and objectives; as well as making sound technical decisions, prioritizing project deadlines, following up and completing critical items.
What You Will Accomplish Together With Us
- Apply best practices and tools to design PCBAs with microcontroller-based systems, electrical and electromechanical components and assemblies, cable harness, multi-axis motion control, LED lighting, and power distribution.
- Lead the design analysis, simulation, and prototyping of electrical systems.
- Oversee and participate in hardware test and integration in a laboratory environment using a variety of test equipment including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and DMMs
- Ensure the electrical design conforms to safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Identify and interact with vendors and internal stakeholders to obtain engineering materials, processes, and equipment
- Create and present technical documentation for assembly and testing of electrical components.
What Will Convince Us
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Extensive experience in the design of micro-controller based systems, digital and analog circuits, cable harness, motion control systems and process control.
