Senior Packaging Designer

Description:

Our client, a well-established CPG company, is seeking a Senior Designer with CPG experience to join their team. They would really prefer someone with FOOD but are open to BEAUTY as well as long as your PACKAGING DESIGNS have been found on the shelves in stores AND include well known brands.

They are NOT looking for a Creative Director or even that level. This is a HANDS ON Designer role.

This is an on-site hybrid role in the Philadelphia Metro area.

Responsibilities:
-Create impactful packaging and brand experiences that resonate with consumer
-Drive creative development from concept to execution, ensuring strategic alignment and brand consistency
-Develop innovative design solutions that elevate brand storytelling and enhance consumer engagement
-Craft exceptional packaging designs and visual identities that reinforce brand equity and stand out at retail
-Partner with marketing, innovation, and commercialization teams to bring designs to market effectively
-Create and present compelling design decks that showcase strategic thinking
-Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging design techniques
-Work closely with production teams to ensure flawless execution across all touchpoints
-Help shape the design direction of a meals and beverage portfolio

Qualifications:
-A bachelor's degree is required
-6+ years of package design experience with CPG brands
-Strong design strategy and execution skills balancing creative vision with business objectives
-Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and other industry-standard design tools
-Experience in artwork production & pre-press for high-quality output across formats
-Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills to communicate design rationale
-Experience at a design or creative agency strongly preferred
-Knowledge of commercialization processes and participation in cross-functional meetings
