Senior Project Manager

Description:

Verrus is recruiting a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale data center construction projects valued at $100 million or more, with a capacity of 25MW+. The successful candidate will oversee all phases of construction management, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage large-scale data center construction projects ($100m+ and 25MW+ capacity).

• Ensure smooth project handoff from estimating to field teams including contract reviews for requirements, schedules, budgets, and agreements.

• Oversee project closeout, punch lists, and warranty callbacks to maintain strong client relationships.

• Coordinate with Superintendents on work execution, manpower, equipment, and materials.

• Build and maintain professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

• Take overall responsibility for project safety, scheduling, profitability, quality, customer satisfaction, and personnel decisions.

• Support estimating and business development through cost reviews, constructability analysis, proposals, client relations, and negotiations.

Candidate Requirements:

• Proven experience managing large-scale Data Center construction projects exceeding $100 million.

• Minimum 10+ years leadership experience in construction, especially data centers.

• Experience managing multiple projects, with strong knowledge of contract documents, materials, equipment use, scheduling, productivity analysis, operations, and cash flow.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).

• PMP certification preferred.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
