As a Senior Real Estate Attorney, you will collaborate with a talented team across 7 U.S. offices and represent a diverse clientele including developers, franchisees, investors, and multinational corporations. With an impressive record of 50+ major real estate deals closed in 2024, this is a unique opportunity to be part of a thriving practice that values excellence, collaboration, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Commercial Leasing: Negotiate and draft complex office and retail lease agreements, securing favorable terms for corporate clients, including Fortune 500 companies.

  • Manage Acquisitions and Dispositions: Oversee the purchase and sale of commercial properties, conducting in-depth due diligence on transactions valued up to $100 million.

  • Advise on Development Projects: Provide strategic legal counsel on land use, permitting, and financing for significant commercial developments.

  • Negotiate Construction Contracts: Draft and review construction and expansion agreements, working closely with architects, contractors, and project managers.

  • Handle Post-Occupancy Matters: Manage landlord-tenant disputes and address lender-related concerns, protecting clients’ interests beyond transaction closings.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven track record leading complex real estate transactions.

  • Strong expertise in commercial leasing, property acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects.

  • Excellent negotiation, drafting, and advisory skills.

  • Ability to manage high-value transactions independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Licensed to practice law in Massachusetts.
