Senior Salesforce Administrator

Description:

The University of Maryland Global Campus is seeking a Senior Salesforce Administrator to lead and manage complex Salesforce initiatives. This role requires technical expertise in Salesforce flows, declarative tools, and overall CRM architecture. The candidate will mentor junior team members, oversee multiple projects, and ensure Salesforce configurations align with business goals. The ideal candidate combines hands-on technical skills with leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of Salesforce best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced Salesforce flows

• Align Salesforce configurations with business operations and goals

• Lead major Salesforce projects and mentor junior team members

• Serve as an expert in declarative aspects of Salesforce

• Manage multiple projects and ensure alignment with objectives and timelines

• Maintain quality standards, documentation, and best practices

• Collaborate with Salesforce developers, analysts, and stakeholders

• Foster continuous learning within the Salesforce team

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Minimum 7 years as a Salesforce.com administrator

• Salesforce.com Admin (ADM-201) certified; Advanced certification a plus

• Strong knowledge of Service Cloud, Omni-Channel, Communities, Case Management, Knowledge, CTI, SMS, and Chat integration

• Experience with Salesforce Lightning migration from Classic

• Proficient in Agile methodology and project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and CRM best practices

Preferred:

• Previous experience in SCRUM or Agile environment

• Education Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Einstein Analytics knowledge
