Senior Salesforce Developer

STAND 8 Technology Consulting is looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer / Architect to join its team and support a critical Salesforce platform for one of its enterprise clients. This role requires deep technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and hands-on experience in diagnosing, refactoring, and optimizing Salesforce environments. The ideal candidate is a highly skilled Salesforce expert who can deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions aligned with best practices and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead Salesforce architect and developer for a high-impact project requiring in-depth system review and optimization.

• Conduct comprehensive technical assessments of existing Salesforce applications to identify design flaws, inefficiencies, and potential security vulnerabilities, especially those involving Personally Identifiable Information (PII).

• Refactor and enhance Apex code, Lightning Web Components (LWC), triggers, and Flows to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including administrators, developers, and product owners, to address production challenges and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices.

• Manage CI/CD and deployment pipelines using Gearset, ensuring smooth and consistent release management.

• Provide architectural guidance and technical leadership to align development initiatives with the broader Salesforce strategy.

• Contribute to establishing and enforcing coding standards, architectural principles, and governance frameworks for sustainable Salesforce development.

Qualifications and Skills:

• At least 8 years of Salesforce development experience with strong Apex, SOQL/SOSL, and LWC expertise.

• Minimum 5 years of Salesforce architecture experience, leading complex, enterprise-level projects.

• Deep understanding of Salesforce data architecture, sharing and security models, and governor limits.

• Hands-on experience with Gearset for deployment automation, version control, and CI/CD pipeline setup.

• Strong grasp of data security and compliance standards, particularly in managing and securing PII within Salesforce.

• Proven success in fast-paced environments requiring rapid troubleshooting and optimization.

• Salesforce Platform Developer II and/or Application Architect certification highly preferred.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities, with strong communication and leadership skills to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $73 – $83 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications).

• Compensation varies based on location, skills, and relevant experience.
