Description:

- Analyse non-routine transactions and determine appropriate accounting treatment
- Draft and contribute to technical accounting memos and formal documentation
- Partner with teams across finance, legal, tax, and the wider business to assess accounting implications of new initiatives
- Act as a key contact during the external audit process, coordinating requests and supporting documentation
- Support financial reporting, including disclosures and technical accounting positions
- Help develop and maintain accounting policies, ensuring consistent application across the organisation
- Identify control gaps and contribute to strengthening accounting processes and frameworks
What We’re Looking For
- CPA qualification and a degree in Accounting
- 5–7 years of experience, with at least 3 years in technical accounting, accounting policy, or financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, particularly ASC 606 and ASC 842
- Proven experience applying accounting standards to complex or non-routine transactions
- Demonstrated experience drafting or significantly contributing to technical accounting memos or formal documentation
- Career progression from audit or operational accounting into technical accounting, policy, or advisory-focused work
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to exercise sound professional judgement
- Confident communicator who can translate technical guidance into clear, practical recommendations
- Self-starter who is comfortable working in a highly autonomous, unstructured environment
