Shift Supervisor

Description:

PLS Financial Services, Inc., a leading retail provider of financial services, is hiring a Shift Supervisor for their Pasadena, TX location. PLS stands for People – Location – Service, and their mission is to offer convenient, transparent, and customer-focused financial products through over 200 centers across 12 states.

As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service, managing daily operations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role offers the chance to lead and motivate store team members, support operational excellence, and build strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.

In the absence of the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, you will oversee store operations, supervise team activities, and ensure the store operates smoothly while delivering high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain high customer service standards and build strong relationships with clientele.

• Support the Assistant Store Manager in achieving store goals and operational targets.

• Motivate and coach team members to provide superior service.

• Ensure full compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.

• Supervise daily transactions, cash handling, and maintain accurate drawer balances.

• Approve checks within authorized limits and ensure proper policy adherence.

• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently.

• Help manage team schedules, store audits, and cleanliness of the store.

• Stay up to date on policies, procedures, and operations bulletins.

• Contribute to local marketing initiatives to promote store visibility.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of management experience in retail, hospitality, restaurant, or financial services.

• Strong leadership, customer engagement, and team collaboration skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• High integrity, professional demeanor, and customer-first attitude.

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• English fluency required; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long durations.

• Lift up to 15 lbs with minimal assistance.

• Work effectively in high-noise, fast-paced environments.

• Handle multiple tasks and interruptions smoothly.
