Zodiac Solutions, Inc. is hiring a .Net Solutions Architect to design and lead enterprise-level technical solutions within the Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance or reinsurance domain. This hybrid position is based in Warren, NJ, and offers both contract and full-time employment opportunities. The role calls for a seasoned technologist with hands-on expertise in modern development frameworks and cloud-native architecture, with a strong business understanding of insurance workflows and regulatory environments.

As a Solution Architect, you will be instrumental in defining architecture blueprints, designing scalable systems, and guiding cross-functional teams across the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with actuarial, underwriting, and claims teams to translate business needs into robust technical architectures aligned with enterprise and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and compliant software solutions tailored to insurance workflows such as underwriting, policy administration, claims, and risk modeling.

• Define and maintain architectural blueprints aligned with standards like NAIC, GDPR, and Solvency II.

• Lead development using microservices and event-driven architecture for modular design.

• Architect cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure technologies including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Azure SQL, and DevOps.

• Integrate solutions with third-party platforms such as reinsurer portals, PAS, and regulatory feeds.

• Establish CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automated testing for system reliability and availability.

• Implement secure access controls using Azure AD, OAuth2, and RBAC.

• Lead technical teams, conduct design/code reviews, and ensure adherence to best practices.

• Maintain comprehensive system documentation (architecture diagrams, integration maps, etc.).

• Participate in architectural governance, review boards, and ensure technical decisions are logged and aligned with enterprise standards.

• Clearly communicate complex solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 14 years in software development/architecture, 3+ years in a solution architect role

• Proficient in .NET Core, C#, JavaScript/TypeScript

• Frontend expertise in React and Angular

• Strong experience in Azure cloud services and cloud-native patterns

• Mandatory experience in P&C insurance or reinsurance

• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities
