Sr. Accountant

Description:

A leading Biopharma Tier 1 company is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage general accounting, financial reporting, and financial analysis while ensuring compliance with US GAAP and IFRS. Reporting to the Finance Director/Manager, the role will oversee P&L, balance sheets, AP/AR, gross-to-net accounting, and audits, collaborating with internal and external partners to support financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including P&L, balance sheet, AP/AR.
• Manage Gross-To-Net accounting (chargebacks, admin fees, rebates, etc.).
• Prepare and submit financial statements, journal entries, and sales reports in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
• Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and other departments for account analysis.
• Identify and execute process improvements for operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX, and support external audits.
• Assist in system upgrades, internal control programs, and ad hoc initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance.
• Experience in pharmaceutical accounting and Gross-To-Net processes preferred.
• Proficiency in financial/accounting systems like SAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
