Description:
The Sr. Director, Global Forecasting will be responsible for managing all global forecasts for launch-ready and in-line products. This role involves developing comprehensive forecasting methodologies, integrating primary market research, and analyzing data to provide insights for strategic decision-making. The position collaborates closely with Commercial, Corporate Strategy, Finance, and Manufacturing teams to ensure accurate financial projections and country-specific P&L scenarios.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain evidence-based global forecast scenarios, including market analysis and product performance projections.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial forecasts and secure senior leadership approvals.
- Analyze market dynamics, trends, and critical events impacting forecast accuracy.
- Manage internal forecasting governance and ensure quality control in forecasting processes.
- Develop revenue and supply/demand forecasts in coordination with Finance and Supply Chain teams.
- Contribute to country-specific P&L evaluations and go/no-go decisions for product launches.
- Utilize anonymized patient data and pharmaceutical data sources (IQVIA, Symphony, Komodo) for insight generation.
- Partner with market research teams to design and execute research studies for strategic insights.
- Lead global and regional performance reporting, ensuring reconciliation with forecast models.
- Provide insights into business performance and execution of global strategy.
Job Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 15 years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial analytics, forecasting, or market research.
- Specialty or rare disease launch experience required.
- Strong background in consensus building, market research methodologies, and data analytics.
- Experience with pharmaceutical data sources such as IQVIA, Symphony, and Komodo.
- Leadership experience with cross-functional teams and ability to influence strategic decisions.
Skills Required:
- Advanced analytical and statistical modeling expertise.
- Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
