Staff Accountant

Description:

We are actively seeking a Staff Accountant for a manufacturing company in Garland. The Staff Accountant's primary responsibilities will be performing journal entries, assisting with AP/AR, treasury and month end close process. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives working in a fast-paced environment and has the desire to learn and work in multiple functions of the Accounting department. This is a Hybrid position and pays 70K-75K.

Responsibilities:

· Review the general ledger

· Prepare and review monthly balance sheet/bank reconciliations

· Prepare monthly accruals

· Various cash management functions

· Compile data and prepare a variety of reports, forms and responses

· Create ad hoc reports as requested by the Accounting Manager
