Staff Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Perform full-cycle general ledger accounting tasks, including posting journal entries and maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger.

• Conduct daily bank reconciliations and monitor all cash account activities.

• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accurate intercompany and sub-ledger balances.

• Provide support for accounts payable and receivable operations, ensuring all transactions are processed efficiently and accurately.

• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation for internal and external audits.

• Participate in ad-hoc accounting projects and assist the Controller as needed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

• At least 3 years of experience in general ledger and accounting functions.

• Strong working knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to meet deadlines.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills within a professional setting.
