Staff Accountant

Description:

We are currently seeking candidates for a Staff Accountant at a consumer goods company in Billerica, MA, 01862. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of daily accounting, reconciliation and month-end reporting experience.
This is a temporary role (est. 4+ months) with an opportunity for extension and/or permanent hire.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Balance sheet reconciliations and income statement analysis
• Reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Reconcile Bank Statements
• Perform Journal Entries and Adjustments
• Reconcile General Ledger Accounts
• Assist in month-end close responsibilities for 15 locations
• Provide financial reporting (quarterly and year-end)
• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years accounting and month end close experience
• High proficiency with Excel
• Ability to manage multiple items at once
• Strong system skills and reconciliation skills
• Experience with NetSuite is highly preferred though not required
