Store Associate

Description:

Talbots is seeking a Store Associate who will play a key role in driving business forward, particularly in Omni-channel activities, operational tasks, and store systems. The position involves creating exceptional customer experiences and helping build enduring relationships with customers. As a part of the team, you will handle various duties including order fulfillment (Direct Fulfillment, BOPIS, BOPAC), shipping, receiving, visual merchandising, and backroom management. Additionally, you will supervise and lead other team members as needed and assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete and lead all Omni duties (Direct Fulfillment, BOPIS, BOPAC, Ship to Store, Transfers, MOS, and Damages).

• Collaborate with the management team to determine and complete daily and weekly priorities.

• Participate in visual merchandising and store set activities.

• Oversee all shipping, receiving, and backroom tasks, ensuring the efficient flow of merchandise.

• Help maintain a clean, organized backroom and manage facilities as needed.

• Be proficient with the Order from Store system and assist team members with its use.

• Lead and supervise team members when required and help with store opening and closing.

• Protect company assets and assist in maintaining a safe work environment.

• Perform physical inventory, order supplies, and assist with store maintenance.

Qualifications:

• Strong customer-centric approach with the ability to create exceptional customer experiences.

• Ability to work independently with limited direction and take initiative.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to work cooperatively within a diverse team.

• Comfortable with physical tasks, including climbing ladders, standing for extended periods, and lifting at least 55 lbs.

• Available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Open availability to work up to 40 hours per week.
