Structural Engineer

Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering sketches, calculations.
• Develop analysis models for steel structures and concrete foundations and compose reports.
• Prepare, review and/or approve vendor drawings.
• Interact with drafting/design group to develop drawings.
• Visit job-sites to evaluate project requirements and conditions.
• Check engineering drawings and calculations.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited Institution required.
• Minimum of 3+ years' of experience utilizing STAAD pro.
• ANSYS, SACS, MAT 3D, Foundation software experience a plus.
• Working knowledge of the design of steel structures based and concrete foundations a plus.
• Working knowledge of structural design codes (AISC, ACI, API, IBC, etc.) a plus.
• Well organized
• Excellent communication skills
