IMEG is seeking Structural Engineering New Graduates to join its collaborative, employee-owned team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who want hands-on experience in designing structural systems for high-rises, historic restorations, and community infrastructure projects. Using tools like Revit and structural analysis software, the candidate will assist with calculations, modeling, and construction documentation while collaborating with experienced engineers. IMEG emphasizes mentorship, technical training, career growth, and exposure to innovative structural solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in structural design and analysis using multiple materials and engineering software per IMEG standards

  • Gather client requirements and communicate technical details effectively

  • Support project planning, scheduling, and execution

  • Document design decisions and monitor project progress

  • Analyze low- to medium-complexity tasks and propose solutions under senior guidance

  • Ensure compliance with IMEG, industry, and client quality standards

  • Stay current on structural engineering trends and contribute to R&D

  • Participate in all project phases, including construction documents, submittal reviews, and site observations

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • BS in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering required; MS preferred

  • Prior internship experience in building design consulting preferred

  • Engineering in Training (EIT) License preferred

  • Knowledge of structural systems, materials, and design standards

  • Proficiency in structural analysis software and BIM tools

  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to collaborate effectively in teams

  • Proficient in MS Office Suite

  • Ability to travel up to 5% with occasional overnight stays

Benefits and Compensation:

  • Salary: $71,000 - $76,000 per year (≈ $5,917 - $6,333 per month)
