The National Review Institute invites highly motivated college students to join its Fall Internship Program in Arlington, Virginia. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about conservative ideas, political thought, public policy, journalism, or nonprofit development.

Interns will gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and mission-driven organization, while receiving personal mentorship and exposure to the broader network of conservative intellectuals and policymakers.

Past interns have gone on to thrive in careers in media, politics, public service, and academia—and this program is designed to serve as a strong foundation for such paths.

Department Placement Options:

Interns will be placed based on interest and skill fit in one or more of the following departments:

• Editorial: Assist with research, fact-checking, editing, and content preparation for National Review publications.

• Development: Support donor communications, fundraising campaigns, and CRM updates.

• Events: Help coordinate in-person and virtual events, speaker engagements, and logistics planning.

• Marketing: Contribute to digital campaigns, branding, outreach materials, and social media content.

• Technology: Aid with web publishing, digital media production, or backend system improvements.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Current undergraduate student enrolled in a degree program (preferably in Political Science, Journalism, Communications, History, or related fields)

• Demonstrated interest in conservative principles and ideas

• Strong writing, research, and organizational skills

• Availability to work on-site at the Arlington, VA office during the Fall 2025 semester
