Technical Accounting Manager

Description:

This role is open due to a promotion on the team, and the ideal candidate is interested in a similar growth track, coming into the organization, learning the ropes, and ideally growing long-term with the company.

The Manager of Technical Accounting will handle a mix of financial reporting, revenue recognition, SOX controls buildout support, business partnering globally across the organization and special projects working with the Controller & CFO.

Ideal candidate has a strong Big Four / large regional public accounting background, CPA, prior experience with manufacturing or tangible product environments, strong technical accounting, ASC 606 and SOX experience.

Qualifications:

• BS, Accounting
• CPA
• 4 - 12 years experience in technical accounting / revenue recognition
• Excellent business partnering skills, able to build strong relationships in a global, multi-entity environment
• Strong analytical skills & ability to present analytical findings to senior management
• Some management experience would be a plus
• Desire to grow long term with the company; highly promotable
