Test Automation Engineer

Anblicks, a leading digital transformation partner based in Dallas, TX, is seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer to join its innovative and fast-paced team. This position offers a great opportunity to work with advanced testing frameworks, automation tools, and CI/CD systems to ensure high-quality software delivery across multiple environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Selenium WebDriver and be proficient in test automation scripting, framework design, and execution of automated test suites for web applications. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will collaborate closely with development, QA, and product management teams to streamline automation strategies and maintain software reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, enhance, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium WebDriver.

• Design, implement, and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, and integration testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and define effective automation solutions.

• Integrate and maintain automated tests within CI/CD pipelines (using Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).

• Debug and resolve test failures by analyzing logs, scripts, and system issues.

• Ensure extensive test coverage and accurate validation of system functionality.

• Generate and maintain test reports using Allure, TestNG, Extent Reports, or similar tools.

• Contribute to developing and improving test plans, test cases, and testing strategies.

• Conduct performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter when needed.

• Stay current with the latest test automation tools, techniques, and trends, ensuring continuous improvement of testing processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• Hands-on experience in test automation using Selenium WebDriver.

• Proficiency in Java, Python, or other languages used in test automation.

• Solid understanding of automation frameworks like TestNG or JUnit.

• Experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, etc.).

• Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Experience in RESTful API testing using Postman or REST Assured.

• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in Agile environments.

• Understanding of cross-browser testing and test execution on multiple platforms.

• Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus.

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is a bonus.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or Gherkin.

• Hands-on experience in mobile test automation using Appium or similar tools.

• Understanding of DevOps principles and their integration into testing workflows.

• Knowledge of database testing and proficiency in SQL for backend validation.
