Trade Floor Support

 

Description:

Raas Infotek is urgently seeking a Trade Floor Support specialist to coordinate and execute the migration of trader workstations from Windows 10 to Windows 11. The role involves managing the migration project, troubleshooting critical market data applications, and providing first-line technical support on the trading floor to ensure smooth and efficient operations.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the Windows 11 migration project including timeline tracking, information gathering, issue tracking, and risk mitigation

  • Collaborate closely with IT teams, business partners, and other departments to meet project and operational goals

  • Upgrade trader workstations from Windows 10 to Windows 11

  • Provide immediate technical support during the migration for the trading floor staff

  • Troubleshoot Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and other market data applications

  • Work with other IT teams to integrate and support trading applications seamlessly


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior experience in a similar IT support role, ideally within financial services

  • Proficient with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems, Office suite, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams

  • Basic knowledge of IT infrastructure such as Active Directory, printers, Intune, Microsoft Autopilot, On Prem AD, and Azure AD

  • Troubleshooting skills for Bloomberg, Refinitiv, and Microsoft 0365

  • Experience with endpoint management tools like Microsoft SCCM and MDT

  • Strong understanding of endpoint security best practices, Group Policies, Networking, and Active Directory

  • Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and command-line tools

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work well under pressure

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
