Truck Delivery Driver

Description:

The Box Truck Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting, delivering, and unloading windows and patio door products to customers at dealers, distribution centers, and construction job sites. This role emphasizes safe driving, high-quality customer service, and adherence to company policies and DOT regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport and deliver products using a Box Truck, completing assigned delivery routes.

• Manually unload products at construction job sites and distribution points.

• Address customer questions, issues, and concerns professionally.

• Maintain accurate delivery and return documentation.

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain driver logs.

• Uphold safety practices per company handbook and DOT regulations.

• Represent the company professionally in both actions and appearance.

• Maintain equipment in clean and organized condition.

• Spend approximately 50% of time loading/unloading and 50% driving.

Requirements / Qualifications:

• Valid CDL B driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.

• DOT compliant.

• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds continually, above shoulder height and below waist.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic English proficiency to communicate with the public and understand highway traffic signs/signals.

• Full-time defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.
