Description:
Cushman & Wakefield, a global leader in real estate services, is seeking a Trust Asset Manager to oversee a dynamic and expanding portfolio of over 40 timberland assets in the Pacific Northwest. This is a remote full-time opportunity offering competitive compensation and benefits. The role is responsible for delivering strategic timberland management that aligns with the long-term goals of both the organization and its financial institution clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage timberland operations including timber sales, reforestation, roadwork, inventories, and boundary maintenance
Develop and implement short, mid, and long-term real estate strategies in partnership with bank clients
Prepare and manage annual timberland budgets and performance reviews
Analyze and present asset performance, market trends, and improvement strategies
Oversee acquisition, lease, and disposition processes, ensuring maximum asset value
Travel to asset sites and client meetings as necessary
Coordinate with third-party vendors, appraisers, brokers, and service providers to execute projects effectively
Ensure compliance with monthly, annual, and triennial regulatory and operational deadlines
Maintain professional accreditations and stay up-to-date with mandatory training requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Forestry (Master’s degree preferred)
Minimum of 8 years of hands-on forestry or timberland management experience
Proven negotiation skills in leasing, acquisition, and disposition of assets
Strong communication, leadership, and analytical problem-solving skills
Self-driven with a service-oriented mindset and the ability to work across multiple complex projects simultaneously
