Ui/ux Developer

Datum Technologies Group is actively seeking a Sr. UI/UX Developer for a contract or contract-to-hire opportunity located in Atlanta, GA. Local candidates are preferred, and this role requires on-site presence.

The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in User Experience design, strong proficiency in Design Thinking, and proven experience using tools like Figma. This position is suitable for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, highly communicative, and deeply passionate about creating user-centered digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product owners, stakeholders, and engineering teams to convert business goals into design strategies and product features

• Create user flows, wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, and high-fidelity mockups to demonstrate design concepts

• Build interactive prototypes to visualize product features and user journeys

• Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design hypotheses and directions

• Deliver designs across all fidelity levels—from sketches to final UI implementation

• Maintain design quality and consistency while advocating for UX best practices throughout the product lifecycle

• Use SDLC methodologies to analyze, design, build, test, and implement scalable and maintainable solutions

• Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations

• Apply domain knowledge in areas such as system integration, legacy transformation, or cross-functional platforms

• Engage directly with end users to gather functional and technical requirements

• Lead multi-platform IT solution development and evaluate modern technologies to improve project efficiency

Required Qualifications:

• Solid foundation in UX/UI design principles and Design Thinking

• Strong communicator with a clear design vision

• Expertise with Figma and other industry-standard tools

• Strong visual/verbal presentation skills

• Experience in creating user-centric and innovative design solutions

• Self-motivated and capable of independently managing tasks
