Description:

We are seeking an experienced VP of Project Finance to take charge of developing a dedicated financing facility aimed at deploying capital into carbon projects on a global scale. This role involves leveraging your existing network and forging new connections with institutional investors to co-develop a due diligence and deployment framework, with the goal of beginning capital deployment to projects within the next year.

What you will be doing:

• Lead the design, fundraising, and deployment of a project finance facility in collaboration with 1-3 institutional investors.
• Hire and manage a small project finance team as the facility is deployed.
• Collaborate closely with the carbon development team to optimize investment in partner projects and support new project origination.
• Serve on the core company leadership team, working directly with the CEO to shape project finance strategy.

• 10+ years of experience in project finance, nature-based solutions financing, carbon markets, investment banking, green bonds, or a related field.
