Description:
Ryan Herco Flow Solutions is seeking a reliable, customer-focused Warehouse Driver / Associate to join our team. This position combines warehouse operations, order fulfillment, customer service, and local delivery. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working directly with customers as well as handling physical warehouse responsibilities.
Essential Functions
- Provide friendly, professional customer service at the Will-Call counter, including entering customer orders, answering product questions, and assisting customers with parts and product selection
- Pull, pick, package, and ship customer orders accurately, efficiently, and cost-effectively
- Receive, load, unload, organize, and stock inventory while maintaining an accurate and organized warehouse
- Maintain inventory locations and update product information using the computer inventory system
- Safely operate a company-owned delivery truck to deliver orders to customers within the assigned service area
- Load and secure products for delivery and ensure orders are delivered accurately and on time
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships when interacting with Ryan Herco Flow Solutions customers
- Work effectively with warehouse, sales, and other team members to ensure a smooth order fulfillment and delivery process
- Follow company procedures for warehouse safety, material handling, inventory control, and delivery operations
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of warehouse, distribution, order fulfillment, or related experience preferred
- Previous driving and delivery experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with a wide range of customers and coworkers
- Reliable, dependable, and effective communicator
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills, with the ability to maintain cooperative working relationships at all levels of the organization
- Professional demeanor with a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of a warehouse and delivery position, including lifting, loading, unloading, and moving products
- Knowledge of PVC fittings, plumbing products, fluid handling, or the plumbing industry is a plus
- Basic computer skills and the ability to learn inventory and order-entry systems
