Accounting Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records across multiple entities

• Manage external audits and coordinate financial statements for quarterly reviews and annual audits

• Provide financial reports to senior leadership to support strategic decision-making

• Develop a strong understanding of each client’s business and key performance indicators

• Ensure internal controls, tax planning, and regulatory compliance

• Support complex transactions like mergers, acquisitions, and capital activities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy and timeliness

• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local tax and reporting requirements

• Advise clients on improving accounting departments and functions like billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting

• Contribute to financial presentations for board-level and management discussions

• Collaborate on financial forecasts and budgeting

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in public accounting (Big 4 or regional firm preferred)

• CPA license highly preferred

• Strong technical accounting skills, including GAAP, audits, and financial reporting

• Proven ability to thrive in high-growth, fast-paced environments
