Accounting Manager

Seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and compliance. This role will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial data, managing audits, and supporting leadership with accurate and timely financial insights.

  • Oversee and maintain all data to ensure the integrity of the accounting system
  • Maintain financial records in compliance with GASB standards and best practices
  • Prepare and deliver financial reports to leadership and governing stakeholders
  • Lead the annual operating and capital budgeting process and analyze budget vs. actuals
  • Manage the annual audit and coordinate with external auditors
  • Oversee debt service payments and maintain compliance with financial obligations
  • Manage construction-related financials including invoice processing and cash flow projections
  • Assist in preparation of board materials, including financial summaries and reporting packages
  • Support payroll and HR functions as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Associate’s considered with experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting, budgeting, and audit
