Annuity External Wholesaler

Description:

Securian Financial Group is seeking a dynamic, high-energy Annuity External Wholesaler to join their team in the Pacific Northwest Territory. The role is focused on driving revenue through the external wholesaling of innovative Securian Annuity products. The successful candidate will collaborate with a diverse range of channel partners, providing both creative and technical advice to facilitate the sale of individual annuity solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the annuity sales effort in the Pacific Northwest Territory, covering Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, and Wyoming

• Maximize revenue through external sales of Securian Annuity products directly or through channel partners

• Locate, evaluate, and recruit potential channel partners, including systems integrators, distributors, dealers, and retailers

• Provide ongoing support to partners, assisting with marketing, sales promotions, training, and other sales-oriented activities to achieve revenue targets

Required Qualifications:

• Expert knowledge of individual annuity products

• Proven track record in successful sales and relationship-building

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Life/Health and FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses required

• Ability to travel approximately 75-80% of the time

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Pay Range: $65,500 - $125,000

• Sales-based incentive opportunities with total compensation potential of $307,500 - $367,000
