Description:
We are seeking an accomplished SAP Financials Architect (FICO) to lead enterprise financial initiatives. The role requires deep expertise in SAP S/4 (1909+), AO, Fiori Apps, BPC, SAC, and strong knowledge of Accounting, Finance, SD, MM, Tax, Lease Management. The architect will act as the technical owner of ERP integration design, ensuring cross‑module alignment across FICO, BW, BPC, PTP, and OTC processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure SAP S/4 functionality: AP, AR, GL, Asset Accounting, Tax, Treasury, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, RAR, Lease Management, Project Costing, Results Analysis, Profitability Analysis
- Lead ERP integration design across FICO and other modules (BW, BPC, PTP, OTC)
- Collaborate with business leaders (Directors, VPs) to align SAP solutions with strategic goals
- Mentor and coach SAP technical and business teams
- Track risks/issues and ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Analyze existing processes and recommend best practices for cross‑functional integration
- Support system upgrades, SAP notes, and defect resolution
- Develop functional specifications for custom development and support development teams
- Conduct system integration testing and assist with UAT
- Identify and propose functionality improvements in SAP financial systems roadmap
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or IT related field
- Deep knowledge of SAP FICO with hands‑on configuration in GL, AP, AR, AA, Treasury, Tax, CO modules
- Strong functional knowledge of SD and MM integration points
- Experience with SAP S/4 implementations (minimum 3 full life cycles)
- Expertise in cross‑module integration and ERP design ownership
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
- Ability to work in dynamic environments; certifications are a plus
